Fake emails sent by scammers pretending to be from Google
The emails warn you about your Google or Gmail account. One message might say, "You have exceeded your email limit quota." Another says: "You have a deferred email.
" (What's a deferred email?) The text in the email has a link, presumably so you can click to get more information. But the Better Business Bureau says clicking on the link will download malware into your computer. Once there, it looks there for files containing your banking and financial information, the group says.
